The van drives really nicely nd has good load lugging grunt! Carpeting the cargo area makes maneuvering items that much easier, had we not brought our own blankets. The owner's tips were very useful. While there is lots of untimed parking in Annandale, they are tucked away off the main stretch, so some good streets to hit up would be a useful info.
We are DEEPLY UPSET with renting this car. The car was MUCH further away from the stipulated pick up point and both the company and the owner were uncontactable. That made us have a very late pick up because it took us double the time to get to View Street, Anandale as opposed to 10 Barr Street, which the app said was "closest" to my location when it fact there would have been other vehicles closer if we were comparing the actual location of this vehicle (which was only revealed after I booked it! Surely this is a flaw in the system, why cant we get a live location update prior to booking rather than being recommended based on where the vehicle was "suppose to be"?) It was raining heavily and we had to take photos of the car in the pouring rain. We are deeply dissatisfied with the pick up point being 1.1km away from the advertised pick up point, making both pick up and return extremely difficult for me, who drove my car to the van, using it to move a single table. Not to mention having to take all the photos before being able to return the car or end the trip. I locked the key back in the box but had to walk around the car in the pouring rain to upload photos. The car itself was great and in good condition, but the system was just disappointing for my first experience with car next door.
