The car was filthy when picked up. Dirt all over car and sand everywhere inside and not just a little bit. Further then turning on the car to a very loud squeal that would not stop when I drove the car - this lasted the whole trip. Not good. Oh also just to top it off, I drove for half and hour to reach empty petrol. Should be at least a quarter
Hi James, I am very sorry for your experience. To provide some context, I was away on holiday and unable to check the car after each booking. Your booking was about the 7th into my holiday. Regarding the cleaning, I booked a clean with the Carnextdoor affiliated cleaning service on 20th December before I went out of reception for a few days. These services are typically provided within 48 hours however, the service did not perform the clean and I subsequently followed up a number of times before I returned to Victoria around the 5th. I also raised this issue with Carnextdoor however, they would not help me. There is nothing else I could do. Regarding the mechanical issues, as stated above you were the 7th booking in (however the first to report the issue), I do not know why this has occurred and the car is currently with the mechanic to assess responsibility. For the avoidance of doubt, the prior bookings did not report a mechanical issue and I did not experience once before I left for holidays. Regarding the fuel, I have reported the low level of fuel to Carnextdoor as it is the responsibility of the prior booking to yours. Sorry again for your experience. Sam
Hi Robert Thanks for your review, I apologize if the car was dirty. I was travelling interstate and scheduled a clean with the CarNextDoor affiliate cleaning service, however, they did not perform the clean despite my numerous follow up requests over the holiday period. I find this very disappointing and have followed up with CarNextDoor. Sam
