Mauricio has quickly confirmed that previous transmission issue has been fixed and I was very happy to drive his car. This car is perfect for me: Not too small, not too big & easy to drive. Would definitely rent again. Thanks Mauricio.

The car was in good condition except for a few dings in the bodywork. After driving a few kilometres to Albert Park, the transmission would not engage reverse gear - the engine just revved freely in R. The car was to be used in a photoshoot but because we couldn't position it easily, we ended up using the photographer's car instead. I was fortunate to park on a slight slope facing uphill & rolled backwards out of the parking spot as there was no reverse gear. On the way back to St Kilda, the transmission felt very jerky & I'm glad it didn't break down on the tram tracks.
