We are looking for a recruitment powerhouse to join our People & Culture team as our recruitment coordinator. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be supporting our HR function to manage the recruitment life cycle at Car Next Door. For most of our candidates, their interactions with you will be their first experience with Car Next Door, so this role is absolutely critical to ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our future team members.

We need someone who can coordinate our talent acquisition process, from sourcing candidates through to offer and onboarding. The role will also assist with some general HR administrative duties, including some assistance with various People & Culture projects. No two days will ever be the same in this diverse and fast-paced role!

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring a positive candidate experience by responding to candidates in a timely manner
• Assisting with candidate interviews as required (calendar management and phone interviews etc.)
• Arranging tests and assessments with candidates (including having them marked by the appropriate person)
• Management of our the careers inbox, including responding to and reaching out to candidates currently in our recruitment process
• Sourcing candidate profiles for current roles via Linkedin/Indeed sourcing
• Administering the applicant tracking sheets for all live roles
• Setting up employment contracts, and administering role transitions, promotions and changes to contracts 
• Assistance with various People & Culture projects

 What you'll bring:

• 3+ years experience in a recruitment coordinator role
• Previous experience in an HR assistant role or within an HR team would be highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills – this role will require someone who can work across multiple systems, locations, timeframes, and functions, so a natural ability to be organised is a must!
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and G Suite 
• Proven ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information, and an eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills (must have high-level English skills both in written and oral).
