2006 Peugeot 307

Courland Street, Randwick NSW

Owner: Will

Transmission: Manual

Hourly Rate: $5.00

Daily Rate: $25.00

Rate per km: $0.33 (includes fuel)

Description:

It's got sweet roof racks which we never use (but feel free to use them!). It's DIESEL, which makes it really efficient. It works well. Make sure that you fill it up with DIESEL ONLY! Putting in petrol busts the motor straight away. She also has a magic boot. What I mean by this is what ever you want to fit in this boot, somehow always fits!  It's quite amazing what we have got in there.

It's an AUTO, and has a really tight turning circle, and because of it's raised chassis it's actually surprisingly easy to park. There are 2 forward facing child car seats installed (6mths - 4yrs old). PLEASE DO NOT MOVE OR REMOVE.  This car is ONLY SUITABLE FOR 2-3 PASSENGERS (or 2-3 passengers plus toddlers).

Description:

Driving it feels feels like you were born to do so! The automatic transmission gives it a really smooth acceleration and climb, it's really responsive and doesn't stick out. Even seen one of those cars that look like mobile bins? Yep, my first car was like that. Then I grew up. If you're a stickler for neatness and have a sensitive nose, this car is like a dream. :)

2008 Kia Sportage

Boundary Street, Darlinghurst NSW

Owner: James

Transmission: Automatic

Hourly Rate: $8.00

Daily Rate: $40.00

Rate per km: $0.33 (includes fuel)

Description:

The Kia has been great for weekend trips when we need to take a bit of extra stuff with us, or even just cruising up the coast with a picnic. The back seats fold down completely flush allowing two bikes plus luggage. We've also found it the best car for Ikea and Bunnings trips especially on those rainy days when you can't put stuff on the roof racks. As a slightly bigger car, you sit higher and have a good view of the road and traffic, but at the same time it's small enough to get around the city easily. There's a Belkin FM transmitter in the glove box which plugs into all audio jacks, and can be used to charge your phone.. Remember no towing as it's against Car Next Door's Member Agreement.

Description:

My Gold Pueg is a beauty to drive; with the right combination of power and comfort it’s the perfect car for the city or a weekend get away. With leather heated front seats and a powerful AC the car is great for those un-predictable Melbourne days. The Cruise control helps avoid any speeding fines and makes the journey even more relaxing and fun. The car has automatic headlights and automatic windscreen wipers (less things to think or worry about) so enjoy the ride. If you want to listen to tunes and AM/FM options don't cut it for you, bring your iPod/iPhone/mp3 player - there is an headphone connector in the glove box; it's the type that sends out a radio signal and you tune the radio to that signal and it doubles up a phone charger (I have a cable in the glove compartment for an iPhone 5/6)
