It really is an idiot proof car. It's straightforward to drive, small enough to get around inner city streets and easy to park. And it doesn't take long to pick an orange car out in a carpark!

This little car is a pleasure to drive and goes especially well on the open road. Its go two Thule bike racks, and a carry rack for kayaks and surf skis. You'll find tie-down straps in the boot. There's a national parks sticker for all NSW parks except Kosciuszko. A great car for a trip away, or just a quick journey to the junction.

2002 Audi A3

Penkivil Street, Bondi NSW

Owner: Keith

Transmission: Automatic

Hourly Rate: $6.50

Daily Rate: $35.00

Rate per km: $0.33 (includes fuel)

Features: Folding Rear Seat, Air Conditioning

Description:

You should drive this car because you have places to go, people to see and things to do and public transport can be a drag. My car feels neglected because I don't drive it enough and I need your help to make it feel loved. Audi A3s are great cars to drive, they handle well. The car feels like a bigger car but small enough not to be a parking nightmare. The aircon has been recently redone.

Description:

My car (aka Yeckie) is a sweet little car with lots of pep and good energy. She's deceptively roomy and seats five people (though the fifth one may get a little squished) and is great for nipping around the city and weekends away. She was my sister's much loved car before she moved to China and she likes going on trips without me.

Description:

One really good thing about 'Noddy' (Noddy of Enid Blyton fame had a yellow car but it had red mud guards) is I've never been booked for speeding in her. I guess what I'm saying is it's not super powerful. But she's reliable, a sunny and safe colour and in remarkably good nick given her age - only done approximately 25,000km so far, and rising.

Edward Street, Darlington NSW

Owner: David

Transmission: Manual

Hourly Rate: $6.00

Daily Rate: $30.00

Rate per km: $0.33 (includes fuel)

Features: Folding Rear Seat, AUX Input

Description:

This little silver pug is a stylish way to get about town. At the moment the AC is on the blink but the heater works just fine, so unless you prefer to remain refrigerated below 20C you should be fine. The car really excels on those out-of-town trips combining comfort with the performance of a turbo diesel on the open road. The car has been dealer-maintained but has the inevitable patina of inner city CND life with scratches and dents. The car drives well and comes with a 5-star crash rating but I would prefer if you did not test this out! and did I mention that this car is French, so expect the occasional quirk and don't be shy in asking me how you can get the most of your driving experience. See additional info on finding the reverse gear! Featuring USB for stereo input or phone charging, trip computer, adjustable steering wheel, powered adjustable side windows to make reverse parking easier, Bluetooth, 6-speed gearbox and cruise control to take the stress out of those long trips. Expect to find some shopping bags in the back along with a tub that is perfect for transporting plants etc. and some old blankets and pillows for transporting fragile items. If you are loading the car use the white blanket across the rear of the car to avoid any damage. Enjoy your drive and get back to me if I can make it better for you!
