Transmission: Automatic

Hourly Rate: $10.00

Daily Rate: $45.00

Modified to to transport a passenger in a wheelchair, but can be used by anyone. Easy to drive, handles like a small car but has lots of room for moving things. The third row of seats has been removed, as well as the middle seat in the second row, in order to accommodate a wheelchair, which means it is set up like a van. The Fuel gauge is not entirely accurate, however fuel light does work. The car will go 480km or more on a full tank of 65 litres. Please reset the trip meter to zero if you refill the tank.

NOTE: MANUAL DOOR KEY: Turn right to unlock cab doors; right, return and right again to unlock all. Left to lock all. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: Drivers side cargo door inoperable at present, pending repairs. This is a manual, diesel, medium wheel base Ford Transit, (commonly called a 2 tonne van) so it's a bit longer than a normal car (5.2m) and a bit wider (2.3m incl. mirrors) but very easy to drive. It has power steering, cruise control, air con and 3 seats in the front cab. Sliding doors on both sides and the barn doors at the back make it super easy to load and unload. The internal space is 2.7m long, 1.3m high at rear door entry and 1.5m wide (1.3m between wheel arches) so it's perfect if you're doing a small move. e.g a Queen bed mattress & base, fridge and washing machine, bedside tables, small couch and other bits and pieces all in one go. It comes with a trolly, blanket and drop sheet to prevent scratching, webbing straps (passenger side door pocket) and tie-down points on the floor to secure your load. Roof racks in case you need to carry a ladder or some such. A toe-ball can be fitted on request. l will always try to keep the van clean but if I don't get a chance between bookings, I've left a dust-pan and small broom (drivers side door pocket) and a broom in the back of the vehicle if it needs a sweep. A cable to AUX Input means you can plug your music straight in.
