Air conditioning was not working when it was advertised as "has air conditioning". Cruise control was not working hence on long straight highways it could have been more enjoyable. I own a Mazda hence I know how to operate the cruise control. When I texted Sam for advise, there was no reply. Support from owner was not there. Otherwise the MX5 as a car is a joy to drive. Rental rate was more economical than the later models available for rent. But still if things don't work, it should be advertised as it is because it is misleading. Rental is cheaper not because of special pricing, it is because some of the basic functions are not working.

I arrived to the vehicle and there was no key in the lockbox, I then contacted the owner who never bothered to call me back and I have still been charged 38 dollars for a car I never drove.
Hey Cian, Thanks for borrowing and so sorry about your experience. The key was not returned by the previous borrower and therefore was not left in the lockbox. I didn't know this at the time and have since had the key collected from the borrower and returned to the lockbox. Please request a refund for this trip / for the trip to be cancelled as you obviously shouldn't have to pay for this. So sorry this has happened. This is unusual. Sam
