Hi there, the car is used nearly on a daily basis which there are no issues. If there is an issue with the brakes, i will follow up with carnextdoor, hopefully they have insurance to cover any damage. Please note - is it these type of comments which make me question to take the car off the platform completely. Carnextdoor take a 40% commission leaving the question is the money received worth the time away from the car and the negative comments from borrowers. I am sorry to hear that you thought about the car be expensive however the costs cover general maintainer for the car, servicing costs, some petrol and actually making money from leasing the car. If is too much to ask to make some money from leasing MY car to people then it might be best to remove the car off the renting platform. Also, recommend in future if you have a problem with the car to either call the owner as soon as possible (imagine if your car was in trouble you would like to know), and, message the owner privately instead of writing a public negative comment.
