I drove home without headlights in.! And just little smell
Hi, you suppose to pull the lever slightly forward for headlights and turn, you got the setting that prevented to use highbeams and that's why it didn't work. I used my car last night and it worked perfectly. I don't know what smells that you had, it just smelt like an ordinary car. As a future reference, any issues please contact me first instead of stating publically.
