This is a great family car and is also terrific for carrying enormous loads. Being a 7-seater, it has copious space for people or loads. The middle and back (3rd) rows can be up (for people) or folded down. Importantly, all Volvos have in-built booster seats which are suitable for children between about 4-9 years old. This means that you don't need to bring a dedicated child seat. On the XC90 the booster seat is in the middle of the middle row of seats.
