Car not the best, had some issues with the windscreen wipers and car was quite dirty
I’m sorry to hear that the car was not clean for your use and that you had problems operating the manually operated windscreen wipers. I asked CND for more a specific description of your issues with them and they mentioned that you said they went off intermittently. I have used the car all weekend and the wipers operated without any issues whatsoever which leads me to believe that you may have had them on the intermittent setting whereby they can be manually set to have different delay times. When I checked the car, the wiper stork on the steering column was in this setting with the longest delay setting selected. With the greatest respect, borrowers must understand and accept that they paying to borrow an older car, without automated wipers as found in many newer cars. If you or any other borrowers are having trouble operating the manual controls on this car, I would suggest paying more and borrowing a newer car. In regards to the car being clean, you borrowed it in January when the car typically gets rented out a lot. Whilst we make every effort to keep the car clean, we ultimately rely on all borrowers returning the car in the clean condition in which they found it. With the dust storms and inclement weather that we have experienced in Melbourne throughout January not to mention hail storms, it is not surprising that the car was dirty inside and out.
Great car very clean! Very smooth drive
