Thanks for letting me know about the noise, it’s since had both rear wheel bearings replaced, and the car is driving great again
Extremely disappointed. The fuse board had a plastic bag cover over it to protect from the rain. The fan belt broke. MANY MECHANICAL failures causing me to wait for roadside assistance and towing for a total of 7 hours.
Grahame, let’s stick with the facts, unfortunately the fan belt broke which was the only issue you experienced with the car, sometimes old or new, cars breakdown. My car is very well maintained and since had a complete engine rebuild at a cost of $6000 during June and July of 2022. Having a plastic bag protecting the fuse box while I waited for a new plastic code from France is a great solution and in no way affected your trip, did it? I unfortunately can’t control how hopeless the NRMA are as an organization, I suggest you take your complaint with their service item up with them.
