the van was nice and clean inside but the fuel was very low. also when we were driving the car the coolant was really low and kept flashing so we had to bring the van back earlier than what we had rented it for without our money back, also when trying to contact the driver he didn't answer saying he was with his family and to call the helpline before my phone died!
The Borrower started the car, and a low coolant level warning message was flashing. But instead, of calling the Roadside Assistance or letting the Car Owner about it, the Borrower drove for 14 km and only called the Car Owner 1 hour after the fact. It is still to be discovered whether the Borrower will be assigned the repair cost for ignoring the warning message on the dashboard and driving the car without engine coolant for 14 km while risking complete damage to the car engine. The van is nice, clean, and regularly services by a specialised Mercedes-Benz mechanic. Nevertheless, the driver (whether it is a Borrower or the Car Owner) has to respect warning messages displayed on the car's dashboard. In some cases stop the car immediately and call Roadside Assistance or the Car Owner for advice. Unfortunately, this Borrower is careless and disrespectful to other people's belongings (i.e. a car). It is completely unacceptable to be driving a car without checking what the displayed warning message is about.
