Evan is a nippy small van, equipped with up to 7 seats, and with space for carrying large items such as a bicycle or some furniture. He is available solely to residents of The Commons, as part of the community's EV carshare program. New borrowers must contact Di (ph 0411671652) to schedule an induction to the vehicles prior to making their first booking. Be warned - if you are not a resident of The Commons, your booking will be cancelled. The rear seats fold down flat, also the front passenger seat folds forward to create more space. Evan is suitable for reasonably short urban trips. The vehicle's range (distance to empty) is about 100km. Pls note that Uber CarShare Borrowers are not permitted to drive off-road, on snowy alpine roads, on beaches or through rivers. Evan is not currently available to book overnight, as we want to maximise his availability to the whole Commons community. You can link your phone to the car's computer system, by phone cable or bluetooth, to play your music for example. You can take a pet in the rear, as long as it is safely secured in a pet travel container and the vehicle is returned clean and tidy.
