This vw Caddy was absolutely perfect for what it is. John was extremely pleasant to deal with in the pick up was seamless and it was no problems at all. The car drives well and is fit for purpose. I am surprised to see that somebody developed a bad review as the car is great value for the price and I would happily rent this vehicle again

The car was not as originally described. A few mechanical issues as well. Cons: 1) passengers door window does not go back up once lowered, needs switch on drivers side to close the window. 2) a weird rattling sound from the engine vault on ignition. 3) interior fixtures broken, headlights wouldn’t turn off. 4) front suspension needs a look at, 5) multiple dents and rusty areas around the vehicle 6) vehicle was filthy inside and out. Pros for the vehicle: 1) runs well for 450,000km car. 2) gear changes, once familiar with European gears are smooth. Car a bit thirsty, drove 25km and car had guzzled 1/8th of the tank. Headlights a bit dim.
This review is not factual. Checked by both another driver and my service mechanic - both said nothing wrong. I then listened to vehicle and it was running as a normal diesel engine. Please do not hire my vehicles to this borrower.
