Car broke down in the middle of the trip, called road side assist and discovered there’s a mechanic fault with the car. It ruined our whole trip as it took us 2 days to get car repaired and be back on the road . Not to mention all the inconvenience and the cost although we get the refund for the repairs later.
Hi Ash, Thanks for your review. Car was booked for 16 days and there was not even a single issue for first 12 days although you had 11 People in a 8 Seater Car. The problem started when the battery to drain and then keeping the car cranking desperately to start it rather than waiting for assistance. This killed the starter motor which was waste of time and money and you had to wait 24 hours to get it all fixed because you opted not to wait for assistance for 45 mins. Unfortunately it was a Good Friday and the Starter Motor was damaged and obviously getting it fixed in 24 hours is normal as it is second biggest holiday period of the year. Also, you opted not to pay for child seat rental for 2 seats and install which you wanted for free on a $25 rental a day and a damage bill of $600 which is big loss for me on your rental. Kindly, just to let you know that child seats are not for free and also it is always good to leave the items reasonably clean including car. Lots of Food Waste, Drink Bottles, Water Bottles and stained child seats with food is very disappointing.
