Karl’s Outlander PHEV is the only plugin electric vehicle on the platform or on any other rental company that we could find. The car was brilliant! On electric power the car was quiet, smooth and zero emmission. We charged the car most nights and did all short trips without using the petrol engine. We drove 1900 and put 74.5 litres in the tank (we left it 3/4 full and found it full, so add an extra 10 litres for our full petrol usage). That equates to about 4.4 litres per 100km. It would have been far less if we didn’t do so many long trips. We will definitely hire again, but hopefully some full electric vehicles are added to the platform soon.

The battery was flat... Then, it was hard to find a charger as well. Apart from that, I enjoyed driving a clean and nice car. Also, thank you for the detailed message when I booked. It helped me a lot to connect to Bluetooth. :)

Thank you for your feedback. As we advise when booking, the car is a dual fuel car which can run on petrol or electricity, and during busy times it is not always possible to charge the electric battery. The electric battery is not required at all to use the car,

I would highly suggest this car. It’s amazingly convenient, heaps of space, good leg room for all passangers, great ventilation system, easy to drive, spacious trunk, extremely quiet.
Overall, do not hesitate to rent this car!

The owner is very helpful. Even the car tyre wheel is flattened, he assisted me to find the tyre repair shop.
The car is very nice and powerful. I did use it for shopping at Ikea becuase it is spacious for transportation of large goods.
