I had the worst experience ever yesterday!
It was my son´s birthday, and I hired the car to bring my son´s friends with us to celebrate his birsthday at Entertainment Quarter at 6:30pm... However the car was terrible!... The key did not work... I could not turn on the car, even inside the car I could not turn on any lights or signs...
I called the owner, asking for any specific details, and he was surprised with the situation.
My son, by my side, was crying for being late and missing his own birthday party...
Really really terrible!
My decision was to get 2 different Ubers... one Uber from home (I had 2 adults and 2 kids waiting there while I was picking the "car next door" up) and another Uber from the place where car next door was (North Bondi, to a a pizza place in Rose Bay, close to my place, a friends house also in Rose Bay and finally to Entertainment Quarter).
We were supposed to be there at 6pm (car hired at 5:30pm) however we have just arrived 6:48pm!
Anyway... I have tryed to control my son´s emotional (so as mine) and keep the party on... some of mys son´s friends were standing outside the place waiting for us (the party was 6:30 to 8:30pm yesterday)
And my problem is still going, because I have to be at Pagewood this lunch time with 7 people as well, that why I hired the car for a day for 7-8 seats!
I want to be refund for everything!
The key´s car is with me, because I couldn´t open the box yesterday without a code to finish the trip.
I want to be fully refunded... I will never forget this... we have been always recommended Car Next Door to our friends despite the problem we once had last year (the trip was cancelled a few minutes before our booked trip when my son had a final soccer game!) but we will start doing the opposite... a negative feedback and we think about never use car next door again!
