Make sure you slam the boot really hard, rather than just shutting it like you would normally. Didn’t slam boot hard enough and battery went flat overnight because car believed boot was open. Jump started…. and got to destination 20-30 min drive away, and battery was fine 3 hours later for drive home….but then completely dead again another 3 hours later at home.

However, the car does have a physical key that can be used to lock the doors manually. Regarding the air conditioning, I'll have it checked out to see if we can resolve the issue.
